Rezona x Straf Collective , Party for Good


Our recap of Party for Good, which took place on April 10th, has been long overdue.
In the months following the event, our collective took the time to recover, reorganize and reflect.
Looking back now, we do so with gratitude and a renewed sense of purpose. 

For our inaugural event, we joined forces with our friends at Rezona. United by a shared desire to create impact, build community and contribute something meaningful to Amsterdam’s nightlife, we brought our visions together for the very first time. The result was
Party for Good an intimate fundraiser held at Primos, the bar space above Toekomstmuziek.
What made the evening special was not only the music, art or setting but the people. Throughout the night, the venue welcomed more visitors than its capacity could officially hold, making it clear that there was a genuine need for spaces like this. Spaces where people can gather, connect, dance and express themselves freely.

The event came shortly after a challenging chapter for our collective. In February, we attempted to organize Nablijven, an independently produced rave concept in Diemen that ultimately did not unfold as planned. While disappointing at the time, the experience strengthened our determination to keep building. Party for Good became proof that setbacks do not define the outcome, they become part of the process.
Seeing new friendships emerge, conversations unfold and people from different backgrounds connect through music and creativity reminded us why Straf Collective exists in the first place.
For the first time, our community came together physically.
What had previously existed as an idea, a vision and a growing network suddenly became tangible. Beyond celebrating community, the event also served a larger purpose.

Party for Good was organized as a fundraiser for Road of Hope, an Amsterdam-based non-profit organization supporting refugees in their journey toward integration.
Together, we raised €635.
